DAY 11. grateful for future weekend plans :)
This morning @ Mosaic Church (Pasadena, CA)...
I was hit with the reality of what pastor Erwin said:
It's not, "God, what do you want me to do with my life?"
But rather, "God, what do you want done?"
What I realized was that God wants me where his love is needed most.
plain and simple.

Day 9 of gratefulness :)

DAY 9. grateful for APU Gospel Worship Team.
Tonight was the annual "Gospel Sing" here at APU and our Gospel Worship team rocked it.
The place was CUHHRAZZYYY. (and I mean crazy)
People dancing, raising their hands, clapping like they're never clapped before...
I've never seen anything like. They showed me Jesus, and for that...I am grateful.
PEOPLE....GET EXCITED BECAUSE....
I WILL BE GETTING MY VERY OWN SLR CANON CAMERA :) :) :) :)
I really can't put into words how stoked I am about this..so here are a few picture to explain my excitement...
basically, I want to scream/jump/runaround/hug everyone.
Once the camera comes, this blog is going to EXPLODE with pictures...so get ready...
So yesterday I decided to email two of my most-favorite people: Liana and Nati!
Liana is currently studying abroad in South Africa and Nati (short for Natalie) is in Australia :)
I miss them both dearly and wanted to make sure they were safe and that they knew I missed 'em!
I woke up this morning to their emails back to me and IT MADE MY DAY!
These girls are just so in love with Jesus and I love them for that.
From Nati to me "
(That's Natie on the left. She's great. Excuse my creeper/weird face and strange outfit haha)
What an awesome idea!! I'm definitely inspired right now and I've decided to try to post
ONE picture a day of something I am grateful for.
DAY 1. grateful for roommates/bridesmates/sistas in Christ :)
...CHICKEN STRIPS FROM TRADER JOES.
1.pull out of freezer
2.put in microwave
3.wait 5 minutes
no touching gross raw chicken. no touching gross chicken bones.
no using a knife and risking cutting off my finger tips.
what could be better???
TADA! mom I told you you'd be proud.
I know this doesnt look like much, but for me....this is a milestone! I made dinner..weeee!!!
4 hrs TO Pismo + 4 hrs IN Pismo + 4 hrs BACK from Pismo = success!
Forget the T.V, the hulu, the crazy schedules and stressful days....there is nothing like a good old fashion day on the open road....weeeeee!
(thank you Target, for these lovely $10 shoezies.)
we started off our day right, with some starbs. (soon to be evil starbucks...see picture below.)
EVIL! coffee spilt on my nice, lovely, clean, white charitywater shirt :(
I blame it all of the coffee.

Thank you Santa Barbara!
Perfect day much? The weather was ridiculously perfect, we fought a bit of traffic but made it out alright, talked about our favorite movies for hours, played celebrity match up, took a lot of pictures, talked about Jesus and what he's doin in our lives....SUCH A GOOD DAY!
I love roadtrips. the end.
